OptaSense DAS Solution
We are also representing QinetiQ – UK in Pakistan for their product OptaSense. OptaSense® provides cost effective around-the-clock distributed acoustic monitoring over long distances using standard telecoms fibre optic cable that has often already been buried alongside an asset. The system can accurately Detect, Locate, Classify and Alert on activity along the entire length of the cable. OptaSense can be quickly deployed using conventional fibre laying equipment or in many cases by utilizing the dark fibre of existing telecom systems.

Telecom Long Haul & Metro Cable protection
OptaSense can detect any ground based activity within the vicinity of the buried cable and has the capability to:
- Detect human interference with the cable
- Detect ground works / mechanical digging
- Locate otherwise undetectable fibres
- Provide facility perimeter surveillance
- Locate any detected disturbance along the fibre to within 10m and provide the capability to locate and range offset events
- Provide the security forces with the ability to monitor activity in site or remotely.
